Generative AI is transforming how governments deliver services, make decisions, and improve productivity. The Whole-of-Government (WOG) Enterprise AI Programme enables public officers across Singapore's government agencies to securely access enterprise AI tools. As a Tech Product Operations Intern, you will join the team responsible for operating and scaling these AI platforms across the Public Service. This is not a typical operations role. You will work at the intersection of product management, technology, data analytics, user experience, governance, and AI adoption, helping shape how thousands of public officers leverage AI in their daily work. Interns will gain hands-on experience in: Monitoring and improving AI product operations and service delivery. Analyzing platform usage, adoption trends, and user feedback to generate actionable insights. Supporting onboarding and enablement initiatives across government agencies. Automating operational workflows and developing dashboards for product performance tracking. Collaborating with product managers, engineers, policymakers, and industry partners to enhance AI services. Exploring emerging AI capabilities and evaluating how they can be operationalized at scale within the Public Service.

Learning Outcomes

Enterprise AI Product Operations: Gain hands-on experience operating and supporting enterprise AI platforms used across the Singapore Public Service, learning how large-scale digital products are managed, monitored, and continuously improved. Data Analytics and Product Insights: Develop skills in analyzing product usage trends, adoption metrics, user behaviors, and operational data to generate actionable insights that inform product and business decisions. AI Governance and Responsible AI: Understand how AI products are deployed within a highly regulated environment, including governance, security, privacy, risk management, and responsible AI considerations for public sector use cases. Automation and Digital Transformation: Gain practical experience in automating operational processes, building dashboards, leveraging AI tools for productivity, and driving technology adoption at a Whole-of-Government scale.

Prerequisites

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
