The Data Discovery Programme focuses on shaping Whole-of-Government strategies, standards and best practices to improve how data and information are organised, managed, and discovered within and across government agencies. The programme drives the adoption of central platforms, develops information and data management frameworks, and influences the long-term roadmap for enterprise search and AI-powered information discovery capabilities. Through research, stakeholder engagement, governance, capability development, and strategic consultancy, the programme helps agencies strengthen data and information discoverability, knowledge sharing, workforce productivity, and AI readiness.

Learning Outcomes

- Understand Whole-of-Government Data and Information Management Practices Gain practical exposure to how government agencies organize, manage, govern, and discover data to improve productivity, collaboration, and AI readiness - Apply Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement Skills Learn how to plan and execute adoption initiatives, training programmes, communications, and engagement activities to support organizational change across agencies. - Develop Hands-on Experience with Digital Workplace and Automation Technologies Gain practical skills and knowledge in Microsoft 365 technologies such as SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI-powered productivity tools - Conduct User Research and Translate Insights into Solutions Learn techniques such as stakeholder interviews, surveys, workshops, and requirements gathering to identify user needs and recommend improvements to information and data discovery practices - Design and Deliver Knowledge-Sharing and Learning Initiatives Gain experience developing awareness campaigns, workshops, and Whole-of-Government engagement activities that promote data and information management and AI adoption.
