Government digital services need to be reliable — and that starts with comprehensive software testing. But testing can be slow, repetitive, and painful when executed manually. Test Automation Toolkits helps agency teams improve software testing coverage and reduce manual effort across the testing lifecycle. Each toolkit is built product-first, AI-powered, and developed using a Specification-Driven Development (SDD) approach — with tools spanning test execution, coverage analysis, and beyond.

Learning Outcomes

- Gain hands-on test automation experience — work with modern testing frameworks to build the toolkits - Build AI-powered tools for real users — develop LLM-powered automation tools used by government agency teams - Full-Stack Development Skills: Gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining both frontend and backend solutions. - Experience the full software development lifecycle — from requirements and specification (SDD) through to build, testing, deployment, and user feedback

Prerequisites

Essential - - Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Javascript, TypeScript, GoLang) - Basic understanding of client-server and microservice architecture - Good understanding of how LLMs and AI agent work - Understanding the use of Git - Good communication skill Preferred - Knowledge of Test Pyramid (Unit, Integration, End to End Testing, User Acceptance Testing) - Familiarity with devops concepts such as CI/CD - Hands-on experience of AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor)
