The Student Development Integrated System (SDIS) is a digital platform that unifies four MOE student development programmes: OALC, SYF, NSG, and MOC into a single integrated system, impacting over 178,000 students annually. Built on Salesforce SaaS in partnership with GovTech's Centre of Excellence, SDIS is delivered iteratively using Agile methodology, with a strong emphasis on user-centric design, reusable components, and sustainable maintainability. You will join an active cross-functional product team and contribute to the development of new features across upcoming SDIS releases. Working alongside GovTech engineers, a solution architect, and MOE product staff, you will get hands-on experience building and enhancing a live government digital product used by thousands of educators across Singapore. - Develop and configure features on the Salesforce platform based on user stories and design specifications - Build and maintain reusable components that support faster development across releases - Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure features are well-tested before release - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives - Work with the team to document technical decisions and contribute to knowledge transfer efforts - (If experienced) Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines via SHIP-HATS

Prerequisites

- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field - Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar) - Basic understanding of software development concepts such as version control, APIs, and databases - Willingness to learn Salesforce development — prior Salesforce experience is not required - Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum ways of working is a plus - Experience with Salesforce (e.g. Apex, Lightning Web Components) or cloud platforms is a plus
