The GovTech ServiceNow Centre of Excellence (COE) is the central authority for ServiceNow across the Whole-of-Government (WOG), providing technical advisory to agencies and helping them kickstart their ServiceNow implementations. It focuses on building lasting agency capability, equipping teams with the knowledge to manage and grow their platforms independently, while setting WOG-wide standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and best practices across all government ServiceNow deployments.

Learning Outcomes

- ServiceNow Platform Fundamentals – Gain hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, learning how it is configured, administered, and deployed in a real government context. - Government Digital Standards – Get exposure to how WOG-wide standards and guidelines for ServiceNow are developed, including contributing to resources such as playbooks that help agencies kickstart their implementations in a consistent and governed manner. - Solution Design and Implementation – Participate in real implementation projects, learning how to translate business requirements into scalable and effective ServiceNow solutions.

Prerequisites

- Proficient in at least one programming language, with JavaScript being preferred given its relevance to ServiceNow development. - Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Terraform, and serverless architecture will be an advantage. - Some exposure to or knowledge of enterprise SaaS platforms, such as ServiceNow
