Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) is a key platform within Singapore Government Technology Stacks that enables government agencies to build and operate digital services on commercial cloud. The GCC Engineering team develops platform automations, landing zones, and security tooling across AWS, Azure, and GCC, serving thousands of government systems and thousands of public officers.

Learning Outcomes

- Cloud Platform Engineering: Gain hands-on experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure automations on AWS, Azure or GCP for government agencies. - Infrastructure as Code: Learn to design, write and manage Terraform modules for account vending and platform provisioning at scale. - DevSecOps Practices: Understand how security tooling and compliance are integrated into CI/CD pipelines across a regulated government cloud environment. - AI-Assisted Automation: Build practical experience integrating large language models (e.g., Claude) into operational workflows such as alert triage and standup summaries. - Observability and Incident Response: Learn to instrument, monitor and triage alerts using tools like Elasticsearch and Slack-integrated pipelines in a production environment.

Prerequisites

- Familiar with cloud concepts and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP) - Proficient in at least one programming language (Python or JavaScript and familiar with Node.js) - Comfortable working with the command line and Linux scripting - Basic understanding of CI/CD and version control (Git) - Knowledge of Terraform, AWS Step Functions or serverless architecture will be an advantage
