Governance Assistant: Building an AI Copilot for Governance Ever wondered how AI can help organisations stay secure, compliant, and well-governed? The Governance Assistant product gives you the opportunity to build an AI-powered copilot that helps Product Managers automate governance and compliance work that is traditionally manual and time-consuming. You will work with AI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 technologies to develop solutions that analyse audit logs, identify anomalies, generate reports, and streamline governance processes. Beyond technology, you will gain exposure to how digital products are governed in the public sector, balancing innovation with accountability, security, and compliance. This is a chance to build a real product, solve real operational challenges, and explore how AI can transform the way organisations manage governance and oversight.

Learning Outcomes

- Applied AI and Automation in a Real-World Governance Context. Learned how AI and workflow automation can be used to streamline governance, compliance, and audit activities while maintaining appropriate human oversight. - Low-Code Solution Development. Gained hands-on experience designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies such as Power Apps and Power Automate to automate business processes. - Business Process Analysis and Digitalisation. Learned to analyse manual governance processes, identify automation opportunities, and design digital solutions that improve efficiency and consistency.

Prerequisites

- Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams integration. - Able to develop and troubleshoot low-code applications and workflow automations. - Familiar with Generative AI technologies, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted solution development. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in applying AI and automation to solve business challenges.
