Tech – Software Engineer: GovAssure Enterprise Risk Management

Large organisations in banking, energy, and government rely on strong controls to manage security, compliance, and operational risks. However, assessing whether these controls are truly effective is often manual, time-consuming, and inconsistent, making it difficult for teams to keep pace with fast-changing systems. In this internship project, you will help design and prototype an AI-assisted risk and control assessment solution on ServiceNow, one of the world’s leading enterprise platforms used widely across banks, energy companies, and public sector organisations. You will build a working prototype on ServiceNow, integrating AI tools to design a new Risk Assessment Flow that helps CIOs, CISOs, and Product Managers identify, prioritise, and assess cybersecurity, data, and resiliency risks for critical systems. You will also explore how AI can automatically evaluate risks and assess the effectiveness of controls, providing clear, explainable insights to support better decision-making. This project aims to transform today’s manual and periodic risk management into a more automated, continuous, and risk-based assessment approach, enabling stakeholders to make better trade-off decisions and strengthening the overall cybersecurity posture of organisations.
