enTRUST is a platform that facilitates safe and secure sharing of research and real-world data between public and private sectors. Our aim is to enable data sharing securely across our platform, saving time for users and creating new insights with the data made accessible.

Learning Outcomes

- Gain hands-on development experience in applying cutting-edge tech stack and cloud technologies in production environments - Actively participate in the software development life cycle – prototyping, development, testing, DevOps, etc - Learn how secure and compliant systems are designed and built - Experience in continuous improvement and optimisation of data pipelines - Develop skills to build CI pipelines to automatically test and deploy applications - Implement new software features in the cloud using Infrastructure as Code (Docker, Terraform, etc)

Prerequisites

- Motivated to learn, good communication skills and team player - Good understanding of basic computing concepts (e.g. data structure and algorithms, databases, version control systems and networks) - Strong coding capabilities and mastering at least one programming language (e.g. C/C++/Java/Python/Golang) - Experience in full stack development, including technologies such as React/Angular/Vue/NextJS, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, data stores - Knowledge of cloud service providers (e.g. AWS), Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) will be advantageous - Understand data processing, ETL processes and basic data management concepts
