An intelligent digital records platform that explores how AI can improve the way organisations manage, search and work with large volumes of digital information. Interns will gain hands-on experience building secure, scalable applications while exploring AI-assisted document management, information retrieval and automation.

Learning Outcomes

- AI & Generative AI: Gain hands-on exposure to integrating AI and LLM technologies into real-world digital products and services. - Full-Stack Development: Build and enhance modern frontend and backend applications used in real-world public sector environments. - Cloud & DevOps: Gain practical experience with cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices. - API & System Integration: Learn how to design scalable APIs and integrate multiple systems to build end-to-end digital solutions. - Real-World Software Engineering: Experience working in an Agile engineering team, including Git, code reviews, automated testing, debugging and production delivery.

Prerequisites

- Proficient in at least one programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python or similar. - Basic understanding of web development, including HTTP, REST APIs and frontend/backend concepts. - Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services will be required. - Comfortable using Git and working with an existing codebase. - Good problem-solving and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
