DataHive is the central WOG data discovery and request platform that enables users to seamlessly search, request and access Government-owned datasets from the Individual, Business and Sensor domains, and supports the implementation of the GDA.

Learning Outcomes

- Development: Fullstack deliverables to production system. - Deployments: Full feature development cycle, test framework, deployments to Azure cloud in govt enterprise environment.

Prerequisites

- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or Python). Experience in SQL, Pandas, Spark is a plus. - Basic understanding of web development concepts such as HTTP, REST APIs, and frontend/backend interactions. Experience in Typescript or Redux is a plus. - Keen interest in big data systems, data engineering, data science and descriptive analytics. - Self driven, attention to detail and can problem-solve under ambiguity - Good technical writing and communication skills
