AR Buddy aims to reimagine how Augmented Resources (AR) are procured across the Singapore Public Service. Leveraging AI, automation, and user-centric design, we will streamline the end-to-end AR journey, from generating job descriptions, sourcing candidates to onboarding, contract management, and performance insights. The intern will contribute to the development of AR Buddy, focusing on the pre-procurement phase of AR sourcing. Working closely with the team, the intern will design, build, and test capabilities that streamline supplier shortlisting, AI-assisted Job Description generation, CV management, and candidate screening.

Learning Outcomes

Through this project, the intern can gainexperience in the following areas: End-to-End Product Development: Gain hands-on experience in the full digital product lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. Applied Software Engineering and AI: Learn how software engineering, automation, and AI technologies can be applied to address real-world procurement and business challenges. Systems Integration and API Development: Develop practical knowledge of APIs, data flows, and modular system integration to enable seamless connectivity across digital platforms. Cross-Functional Product Delivery: Experience collaborative product delivery by working closely with various stakeholders and software engineers. Agile Development Practices: Build familiarity with iterative development methodologies, including prototyping, user feedback incorporation, testing cycles, and continuous enhancement of digital solutions.

Prerequisites

- Programming skills and interest in software development, automation and Generative AI. - Familiarity with web development, APIs, databases or cloud technologies would be advantageous. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate user needs into practical solutions. - Proactive, adaptable, able to work independently and effectively in a cross-functional product team.
