An AI-powered cloud security platform that helps organisations detect, understand and respond to security risks across complex cloud environments. Interns will work with cloud technologies, AI-driven detection, data pipelines and modern web applications to identify misconfigurations, analyse security signals and build tools that help protect critical digital infrastructure.

Learning Outcomes

- Cloud Security: Gain hands-on experience with cloud security concepts including IAM, networking, storage, logging and common cloud security risks. - AI & Detection Engineering: Learn how AI and automated detection rules can identify and prioritise security risks from large volumes of cloud data. - Cloud Data Engineering: Work with data pipelines that ingest, process and analyse large-scale cloud configuration and activity data. - Full-Stack Development: Build frontend dashboards and backend services used to monitor, investigate and manage cloud security findings. - Real-World Cyber Security: Understand how security teams detect, investigate and respond to risks across complex cloud environments.

Prerequisites

- Proficient in at least one programming language such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Python or similar. - Basic understanding of web development, including HTTP, REST APIs and frontend/backend concepts. - Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services. - Comfortable using Git and working with an existing codebase. - Good problem-solving and communication skills, with a willingness to learn. - Good to have: Exposure to cloud security, AI, Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code or data visualisation.
