SSOE enables Singapore MOE Schools to operate consistently by providing reliable network connectivity, computing devices for teachers and students to enhance their teaching and learning journey supported by best-in-class Google & Microsoft education workspaces to improve communications and collaboration. SSOE TechBuddy is a one-stop Gen AI conversational assistant who will navigate the technology challenges that educators are facing on a day-to-day basis and resolve them in the shortest possible.

Learning Outcomes

- User Research & Empathy: Interview educators and school staff to identify common tech "pain points" and translate these into actionable product requirements. - Prompt Engineering & Logic: Collaborate with developers to refine the GenAI’s conversational flow, ensuring the "Buddy" provides accurate, empathetic, and rapid solutions. - Feature Roadmap: Assist in prioritizing the product backlog based on user impact and technical feasibility. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT vendors and internal teams to ensure the assistant is integrated with current school infrastructure. - Data-Driven Iteration: Analyze usage logs and feedback metrics to measure "Tech Buddy’s" success and identify areas for improvement.

Prerequisites

- The Mindset: You are a problem-solver who is genuinely curious about how AI can transform public sectors, specifically education. - Tech Literacy: Familiarity with GenAI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering) and productivity suites (Google Workspace for Education / Microsoft 365). - Communication: The ability to translate complex technical jargon into simple, supportive language for non-technical users. - Analytical Skills: Comfortable looking at data to spot trends and validate hypotheses. - Preferred: Familiar with Product Management Practices
