SAFER (Sensemaking Alerts for Frontline Engagement and Response) is an operational capability developed by MSF to support child protection efforts. It continuously monitors individuals linked to child protection cases, generating dynamic household-level risk scores based on data from MSF and partner agencies (e.g. SPF, CNB). When risk thresholds are crossed, SAFER surfaces cases for timely triage or intervention, enabling case managers and frontline officers to act early on households at risk of child abuse.

Learning Outcomes

- Roadmap management: Responsible for managing the technology roadmap for key components of the SAFER system - AI experimentation: Run experiments with AI tools to improve the productivity of SAFER Ops users - Requirements gathering: Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to translate operational needs into product requirements. - Data

Prerequisites

- Knowledge of AWS will be an advantage - Knowledge of SQL, and data analysis - Ideal (but not required): Experience with building Dashboards/Reports
