Partner with GTC to redesign how citizens interact with digital government services. You will conduct user research, craft intuitive interfaces, and contribute to accessible design systems, translating complex public agency workflows into seamless digital journeys.
Learning Outcomes
- End-to-End UX/UI Process: Execute full-cycle product design from discovery wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to developer handoffs.
- Design Systems & Accessibility: Apply scalable design systems while implementing accessibility standards (WCAG) for diverse demographics.
- User Research & Validation: Conduct user interviews, synthesize feedback, and execute usability testing to validate design hypotheses.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work side-by-side with engineers and product managers in an Agile product environment.
Prerequisites
- Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design processes, user research, wireframing, and visual design execution.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Preferred: Basic awareness of HTML/CSS capabilities or prior experience conducting qualitative user testing.
