Join GovTech's Early Careers team and gain hands-on experience in attracting and selecting the next generation of tech talent. You will support the end-to-end recruitment and outreach for key Early Careers programmes, such as the Smart Nation Scholarship (SNS), Technology Associate Programme (TAP), and GovTech Internship Programme. You will have opportunities to: - Screen and assess candidates through application reviews and interviews. - Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process. - Support offer management and candidate communications. - Track recruitment progress, analyse recruitment data and surface insights. - Review existing recruitment processes and recommend improvements, including opportunities to use technology to improve efficiency and candidate experience. - Plan and execute employer branding, engagement and outreach initiatives, including recruitment events and campus outreach.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, you will: - Gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end recruitment, from candidate attraction and assessment to offer management. - Develop practical skills in candidate assessment and structured interviewing. - Learn how data and recruitment insights are used to inform hiring decisions and improve recruitment processes. - Gain experience planning and delivering employer branding, engagement and outreach initiatives. - Understand how large-scale early careers and scholarship programmes are managed within the public sector. - Work with stakeholders across GovTech and gain exposure to how we attract and develop early-career tech talent.

Prerequisites

- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or other general degrees such as Business. - Strong interest in recruitment, talent attraction and/or employer branding. - Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an interest in engaging candidates and stakeholders. - Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. - Curious and willing to explore how data and technology can improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
